YOGA is done to control one’s physical, mental and spiritual aspects to have a total balance in life. Yoga is a combination of three things. Stretching exercises, Pranayama, and Meditation.

Chi Kung and Pranayama:

Chi Kung = Chi (Breath) + Kung (Practice) which means practice of Breathing.

Pranayama = Prana (Breath) + Vyayama (Exercise) which means exercise of breathing.

Basically Chi Kung and Pranayama are the same. Chi Kung is just a Chinese name of Pranayama. However their methods of practicing their breath are quite different. But their aim is one, to increase inner power to remain disease free. Pranayama is believed to help develop human potential, allow access to higher realms of awareness, and awaken one's "true nature.

Martial applications of Chi Kung- It toughens our internal body so much that one can easily sustain heavy blows on different parts of body while fighting.

Meditation: Meditation has been misunderstood a lot by most of the people.

There are two types of meditation.

  • Sitting/ Standing Meditation: This is the meditation which most people are aware of. This meditation is done while sitting or standing in a specific posture. There are many types of meditation like Empty Mind meditation, Mantra Meditation, Breath Meditation, Chakra Meditation, Wall Meditation, Open eyes meditation etc.

  • 24 hours meditation: Most of the people will be surprised by this term. But yes meditation needs to be done on 24 hours basis. Sitting or standing meditation is lower form of meditation. The idea of this meditation is to be aware of one’s conscious and sub-conscious mind for 24 hours. It means one needs to be aware of the present moment. By being aware of one’s conscious and sub conscious mind, one can easily concentrate better on his work which can make your job life, school or college life, studies, Kung Fu etc. far more better than earlier. This is little difficult to be achieved. But one’s achieved, can take you to truth and wisdom.

                                                                                                                                  SPIRITUALISM:

A perfect body is one which is physically, internally, mentally and spiritually fit. To be physically, internally and mentally fit one need’s to practice Martial arts, Yoga, Pranyama, meditation etc. But to be spiritually fit one needs to understand the truth of life and needs to continuously meditate on this truth for his lifetime to attain Moksha. Because an impure mind can never be healthy. This topic can be endless. However I want to write down about four topics.

                                                                                                    1) Expectations          2) Faith                3) God               4) Karma

1) Expectations- The root cause of our problem is our expectations. Expectations leads to greediness. Greediness leads to impure mind. Impure mind leads to Trouble and and trouble leads to anger and dissatisfaction which ultimately leads to unhealthiness.Today, whatever relations we are in, there is some or other form of expectations behind it.

I want to write down an important message of Lord Shri Krishna…” Karmanya Vaadhikaaraste, Maa Faleshu Kadachana” which means do your Karma without expectations or without thinking about the fruit behind that Karma.

I will explain this by taking one example. For Ex.: In Parents and children relation: Parents expects from his child that they had risen them from childhood. They have given them everything that their child required. So in RETURN, Child must take care of them and must fulfill their wishes. Such parents have played their part of Karma but with expectations. This expectations leads them to dissatisfaction when their child is not able to stand up to their expectations. Those expectations for which he was never born. Everyone is born to play their part of Karma which is pre-decided.

Today’s newspaper are filled with filth and dirt where child throws away their parents out of their houses. Because these child have never been taught to perform their Karma’s without expectations. After sometime these people (Child) becomes greedy. As long as this child gets money from their parents, they feel happy. But when their parents get’s retired and the money their parents were spending on them gets low or finished, they become dissatisfied because they have learnt in the same way from their elders. So such cases happens where fight happens between child and parents.

Same thing happens in other relations too. Whether it is friend and friend relation, brother and sister relation, Teacher and student relation, In Laws relation etc. Everyone wants to take something. No one ever bothers to give anything. Problems will keep rising till you are involved in give and take relationship.

2) Faith: Faith is a very broad term. However, it can be divided into two groups.

Faith in yourself and faith in God.

To achieve anything in this world one needs to have faith in yourself and your God. To have faith in yourself means to believe yourself. To believe yourself means to believe your Mind, Body, Heart and your soul. To believe yourself means to believe your God because God is inside us. When Mind, Body, Heart and Soul get’s united, everything can be achieved.

3) God: God can be divided into two groups (Not according to me, according to you).

One who is in Murti (Statue or idol) and the other one who is everywhere and who has no shape or size. Who is Niraakaar (without shape).

There is a lot of confusion going about God in this world. According to me, there is a truth and a higher truth. Truth is that God is Rama, Shiva, Allah, Jesus, Guru Nanak etc. However higher truth is that God is in our faith. If one faith’s that God is Rama, then he is in Rama. If one faith’s that God is in Statue, then he is in statue and if one thinks that God is Allah, then he is Allah etc.

Now a question arises, Can anyone tell, “Whether God is Hindu, Muslim, Sikh or Christian?”

I think this is a super funny question. Then why anyone becomes Kattar Hindu or Kattar Muslim etc. Because if Holy Bhagvad Geeta says that God is everywhere, Holy Quran says that Allah is everywhere and same says the Holy Bible and Holy Guru Granth Sahib, then how can they be different. And if they are different they must be fighting with each other to decide who is greater. This is really foolish thinking.

Answer is only one. God is in our faith. Whatever you think, God shapes himself according to you. Because he/she is kind, compassionate and loving. By chanting, God name for the whole day, one can never feel God, neither he is a true devotee. For ex.: By chanting water water for the whole day, one cannot satisfy his thirst or by saying sugar sugar for the whole day one cannot make his tongue sweet. One has to definitely drink water to satisfy his thirst or eat sugar to taste sweet. So one has to continuously move on the path of God. Then only one can feel God. Just keep watching whatever is coming and whatever is going in your life, without being attached to them and have faith in God. This way you will reach the supreme lord. Praising God without expecting anything in return is a real prayer. Only a real devotee can see God in every living being. This is a real feeling of God. Only a real devotee can do this.

4) Karma- In simple terms, Karma is work or duty. That work for which we have taken human birth. Human birth is gifted by God so that we can understand the meaning of Human life. The real meaning of life is to understand the meaning of our soul. The connection of our soul with the God. If human just waste his/her life without knowing this connection then he/she is just living the life of an animal who just eat, drink, sleep, sex and finally die. But human life is precious and gifted. So do not waste time living life an animal. Please turn inwards.

One question can arise in many peoples mind. Does the above answer means that one should not become an Engg., Doctor, Teacher, Sweeper etc and must become a Monk for this. The answer is no. Being an Engg. Or Doctor or sweeper is also a part of our Karma. Right from birth to death, every work we are doing is part of our Karma. But the main thing to be remembered is, never get attached to the fruits of Karma. By being unattached, one does not bear the consequences of Karma and thus attain Moksha.

So be a good human being, a good and dedicated child to your parents, a good brother/ sister, a good friend, a good neighbor, a good student, a good husband, a good wife, good parents, good grandfather, a good Bhakta (Devotee), etc. without expecting anything in return from anyone. Any work done without being attached to the fruits of action, is our real Karma.
